Florent Hadergjonaj (Albanian pronunciation: [hadeɾɟoˈnaj]; born 31 July 1994) is a Swiss professional footballer who plays as a right-back for Huddersfield Town in the Premier League; initially on loan from Ingolstadt.[2][3], Florent signed a three year contract in July 2018 [4]
Club career
Hadergjonaj is a youth exponent from BSC Young Boys. He made his Swiss Super League debut on 29 September 2013 against FC Zürich in 0–1 home defeat.[5] He made 11 league appearances during the 2013–14 season. He won the BSC Young Boys player of the year award after 1 year and a half from his debut.
On 8 August 2016, Hadergjonaj penned a four-year deal with FC Ingolstadt 04.[6]
On 24 August 2017, Hadergjonaj was signed on a season long loan by Huddersfield Town, with the club purchasing the young Swiss during the January transfer season (2018).[3]
