Florence Shirley

Florence Shirley (June 5, 1892 in New York City, New York – May 12, 1967 in Hollywood, California) was an American stage and film actress.

Shirley began her stage career in Boston and enjoyed moderate success on Broadway.^[1] After the sinking of Titanic in April 1912, she participated in a benefit concert for survivors held at the George M. Cohan Theatre.^[2] Her last Broadway appearance was in Alice in Arms (originally called Star in the Window^[3]) alongside Kirk Douglas.^[4]

She appeared in more than 50 films throughout her film career.^[1]
