Felicia Jane Beatrix "Flick" Drummond[1] (born 16 June 1962 in Aden, Yemen) is a British Conservative Party politician. She was the Member of Parliament (MP) for Portsmouth South from 2015 until 2017.[2]

Background and work abroad

Before entering Parliament, Drummond sat on Winchester City Council in her final year of which she emigrated to the United States without resigning her seat, triggering a by-election for seat which coincided with the by-thirds 2000 local election. Having returned by 2005, for that year's General Elections Drumond stood for and was selected to stand in Parliamentary elections.

Drummond contested Southampton Itchen in 2005, coming second to Labour's John Denham. In the 2015 general election she succeeded the incumbent, Mike Hancock, as Member of Parliament in Portsmouth South, having come second to him in the 2010 general election.

Westminster seat 2015-2017

Drummond stood on a platform opposed to Brexit.[3][4] She holds the referendum result diminished and will lessen Britain's influence in Europe.[4] She was defeated in a further marginal result in 2017, one of thirty net gains of the opposing Labour Party.
