Final Word (Bosnian: Završna riječ) is a bestseller novel by the Bosnian writer Zlatko Topčić, published in 2011 by Europapress Holding & Novi Liber (Hanza Media since 2016).[1][2][3][4]

It received the Hasan Kaimija Award for the best book published in Bosnia and Herzegovina in 2011 and 2012 and the Skender Kulenović Award for the best book published in Bosnia and Herzegovina in 2011.[5][6][7]

The novel garnered positive reviews by readers and critics, achieved world success and became international bestseller. It is labeled "the decisive work of post-Yugoslav engagement prose",[8] and one of the greatest works of European literature. Critics described it as "brilliant". It is considered one of the most significant Topčić's works and is the best-selling Bosnian and ex-YU novel ever.

The French translation (Le mot de la fin, M.E.O. Edition, Brussels) was published in 2016 and was ranked first on the list of bestsellers of the American BookDaily in 2017 and left behind numerous world bestsellers (became the first novel from ex-YU region which appeared on that list).[9]
