Fifteen (confection)

Fifteens are sweet treats and a cultural icon across Ulster, with regional variations in Leinster and other parts of Ireland. They are made with digestives, marshmallows and glacé cherries. The name is supposed to come from the amount of each ingredient used in the recipe:

  • 15 cherries
  • 15 digestive biscuits
  • 15 marshmallows
  • 15cl of condensed milk[1]
