Federico Sboarina (born 10 January 1971 in Verona, Italy) is an Italian politician and lawyer.[7] He is member of the Forza Italia party.[8] Sboarina is the current mayor Verona, in office from 27 June 2017. Federico is married and has one child.[9] In 2002, he was elected for the first time, to the city council in Verona, and was re-elected in 2007. From 2007 to 2012, he was assessor of the City of Verona, with responsibility for Ecology and Environment, and Sports and Leisure. He graduated in law from the University of Trento, and was president of the Veronese section of the Italian Multiple Sclerosis Association for two terms. From 2003 to 2007, he was secretary of the Initiative Group forensic association.[10][11]
