Federico Perez Ponsa (born October 22, 1993 in Buenos Aires) is a chess Grandmaster .[2]

He became GM in 2011, in the Grafica Yael tournament at 17 years old. [3]

He played the Chess Olympiad in 2014 (Tromso, Norway) and 2016 (Baku, Azerbaijan) for Argentina.

He competed in the FIDE World Cup in 2015. Perez Ponsa tied 1-1 against Leinier Domínguez but lost on tie breaks of Round 1.
