A referendum on a new constitution will be held in the Faroe Islands in 2018.[1] The referendum was announced in 2017 by Prime Minister Aksel V. Johannesen.[2] The referendum was originally scheduled to be held on 25 April 2018, but was delayed due to the Løgting being unable to agree on the wording of the new constitution.[3]
