Farmingdale High School is a public high school located in Farmingdale, Nassau County, New York, and is the only high school operated by the Farmingdale Union Free School District. The school also serves East Farmingdale and a portion of North Amityville , Massapequa Park, and North Massapequa.
Demographics
As of the 2014-15 school year, the school had an enrollment of 1,939 students and 122.0 classroom teachers (on an FTE basis), for a student–teacher ratio of 15.9:1. There were 378 students (19.5% of enrollment) eligible for free lunch and 90 (4.6% of students) eligible for reduced-cost lunch.[3]
