Faisal bin Khalid bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz Al Saud (Arabic: فيصل بن خالد بن سلطان بن عبد العزيز آل سعود) (born 10 July 1973), is a member of House of Saud and the governor of the Northern Borders Region from 22 April 2017.[1] He also served as an advisor for King Salman[2] before he was appointed governor of Northern Borders Region at rank of minister.[3] His father Khalid bin Sultan was the former deputy minister of defense.
Biography
He holds a bachelor's degree in political science from King Saud University. He received his Masters degree with honors in International Affairs from the University of Massachusetts in Boston, USA. He was appointed as an advisor to the Crown Prince's Court in 2006. In 2016, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz, issued an order appointing him as an adviser at the Royal Court. On Sunday, April 22, 2017, King Salman bin Abdulaziz was appointed him as Emir of the Northern Border Region with the rank of Minister.
Personal life
His first wife was Princess Modawi bint Khalid bin abdullah bin Muhammed Al Saud. In 2013He married princess Sarah Bint Khalid bin Musa'id bin Abdulrahman bin Faisal Al Saud.
