FK Zvezdara (Serbian Cyrillic: ФК Звездара) is a football club from Belgrade, Serbia. They currently compete in the Serbian League Belgrade, 3rd level of Serbian football leagues.

History

The club was founded on 10 March 1951 as FK Bulbuderac. In the early the 1960s, the club was renamed BSK. In 1974, the club changed its name to OFK Zvezdara.[1]

After winning the Second League of FR Yugoslavia (Group East) in 2001, the club won the promotion to the First League of FR Yugoslavia.[1] However, they ended the season in 16th place and were relegated.[1] That was the only season the club played in the highest national level. The season started bad from the beginning with the assassination of the club president Branislav Trojanović a few weeks before the start of the season. Trojanović financed the club and without him the club struggled and only got to finish the season due to the financial support of the Football Association of Serbia, however at the end of the season the club ceased to exist.[1]

One month later, a group of the fans formed a new club called FK Bulbuderac, continuing a tradition of the previous club.[1] On 12 July 2013, the club changed its name to FK Zvezdara.[1] The club started from the bottom and by 2007 they reached the first League of Belgrade, and in 2010 the Belgrade Zone League.[1] After eight years spent in Belgrade Zone League, the club finnishes 2017-18 season in 2nd place and manages promotion to Serbian League Belgrade, 3rd tier of Serbian football leagues.
