FC Shakhtar Makiivka

FC Shakhtar Makiivka is a Ukrainian football club from Makiivka, Donetsk Oblast.

The club participated in the Soviet competition for a quite a stretch. The club was named Stal Makiivka (to 1965), Avanhard Makiivka (1966‑1971), Shakhtar Makiivka (1972‑1979), Kirovets Makiivka (1980‑1991), Bazhanovets Makiivka (1992‑1995).

The club competed at non-amateur level in the Soviet competitions 1966–1971 and 1972–1973. From 1992 until 1999 participated in the professional competitions of Ukraine.
