Dynamo Odessa squad in 1936

FC Dynamo Odessa was an association football team from Odessa. It is widely believed that the club along with Pishchevik were predecessors of FC Chornomorets Odessa.

Overview

The club was established in 1923 as Sparta Odessa and since 1926 Dynamo. In 1939 the team was relegated out of the Group A (Soviet Top League). In 1940 the main Odessa team was replaced in the Group B (Soviet First League) with Pishchevik sports society.

FC Dynamo Odessa continued participate in regional competitions of Odessa Oblast.
