FCI Sighthound Group

The Sighthound Group is a designation used, only by the Fédération Cynologique Internationale (FCI), for a group of dog breeds consisting entirely of Sighthounds.

FCI additionally divides groups into subgroups, which the other main English-speaking kennel clubs do not. The FCI Sighthound Group is made up of three different sections sorting the breeds by type and country of origin, as shown below.

Section 1 : Longhaired Sighthounds

Section 2 : Roughhaired Sighthounds

Section 3 : Shorthaired Sighthounds
