Free and Fair Election Network (FAFEN) is a network of more than 50 domestic civil society organizations working together for good governance, fair elections and open parliament in Pakistan since 2006.[1] FAFEN observed the 2008 General Election with 18,000 independent election observers and the 2013 general election with more than 40,000 non-partisan election observers.[2] After election rigging claims made by various political parties in 2013, the Supreme Court of Pakistan formed a Judicial Commission on the demand of political parties to investigate the matter. FAFEN was the only civil society organization which was summoned to share the election records.[3]
