In the Dungeons & Dragons fantasy role-playing game, the eye of fear and flame is a type of undead creature. It is a skeletal humanoid with one gem in each eye socket. One eye causes fear in living creatures, and the other can shoot flame at enemies.
The eye of fear and flame first appeared in the original first edition Fiend Folio (1981),[1] and made a second appearance in the Book of Vile Darkness (2002).[2]
