Extinctive prescription

Extinctive prescription is a legal term referring to the expiration of a legitimate inheritance as the result of prolonged failure to claim said inheritance.[1][2] Extinctive Prescription is enshrined in United Kingdom by the Prescription Act 1832.[3]
