Evie Woerdenweber (born 1 April 1994 in Birkenhead) is a British radio presenter and actress. She is a member of the Woerdenweber family and currently appears every week on the Channel 4 show Googlebox[1]. She lives in Tranmere on the Wirral.

In January, it was announced Evie would be presenting her own show on Radio Wirral called "The world according to Evie" every Saturday morning. [2]

She is currently appearing in a play and a musical.

Personal life

Evie Woerdenweber was born in Birkenhead, Merseyside to a German father, Ralf, who is originally from Cologne, Germany, and an English mother, Viv, who is from Birkenhead. Evie is also of Welsh descent on her mother's side. Evie still lives in Tranmere.

During the fifth series of Gogglebox, it was discovered that Evie and her boyfriend 'Silent Jay' Makin, had split up in January before filming had started, and it was announced to the press by Makin in March.[3] Since then the family have continued without Makin and Studio Lambert announced he was no longer appearing on the show due to the nature of their break up.

Television

Evie Woerdenweber started her TV career when she joined the second series of Gogglebox. In 2013, during her second year of university, production company Studio Lambert were scouting for families. Someone who was asked recommended her as they thought she would be great for the show. After some screening tests and also convincing her parents to take part, they were accepted onto the show.

Radio
