The EuroVoice 2010 was the first EuroVoice and was held on 23 and 24 September 2010 in Athens, Greece. 44 countries were participating in this European Song Contest of which 27 qualified to the Super Final.

The hosts of the show were Pamela Anderson and Éric Serra. Enrique Iglesias and Anastacia appeared as guest stars.

The two-day Super Final was held at the Athens Arena and was attended by over 5,000 spectators. Approximately 70 million viewers across Europe followed the show on TV as well as through a web-broadcast.

Internet Stage

Voting through the Internet Stage has happened on EuroVoice's Portal. It has determined the winners of all countries, who will participate in the Super Final of the Contest.

It is the intention of the organizers to host the Super Final in a different European city each year.

On the first day of the final act 50% of participants. During the second day will address the same 50% of participants.

Incident

During Iglesias' performance in the SuperFinal, a fan got on the stage and hugged him. When security guards came to take her off the stage, he politely made clear that he wanted the girl to remain on stage. He then sang his song Hero and Iglesias kissed his young fan at the end of his performance.

Prizes

The Super Finalist who gets the most votes becomes the winner of the EuroVoice 2010 Contest and receives €100,000 prize and a recording contract with a major multinational record label.
