Eugene Suarez

Eugene "Gene" Suarez (born in Tucson, Arizona on March 5, 1931) was a U.S. Marine war photographer. He served between 1948 and 1949 after World War II and was once again called up again to serve in Korea in 1950. He is the brother of Mario Minjares Suarez, author of "Chicano Sketches".

After returning home, he became the Chief of Police of the National Indian Police of the Department of the Interior and later partnered with his son to run S&K Tortilla Products in Manassas Park, Virginia.[1][2]
