Eucalyptus staeri, commonly known as Albany Blackbutt, is a Eucalyptus tree that is native to Western Australia.
Description
E staeri will grow to a height of 2 metres (7 ft) to 15 m (49 ft) and has rough bark that is fissured longitudinally.[1] It blooms between October and November producing circular white fine flowers.[2]
Range
It is found mostly in the south west corner of the Great Southern region of Western Australia centred around the town of Albany.[1] with smaller populations extending north into the Wheatbelt. The preferred habitat is sandy soil in coastal scrub.[2]
