Eucalyptus litorea, commonly known as saline mallee,[1] is a mallee that is native to an area along the southern coast of Western Australia.[2]
The mallee typically grows to a height of 2 to 6 metres (7 to 20 ft) and has rough bark at the base that becomes smooth higher up the trunk. It is found on sand dunes and around salt lakes in the Goldfields-Esperance region between Ravensthorpe and Cape Arid where it grows in calcareous sandy to loamy soils.[2]
