Ityopʾya, Ityopʾya, Ityopʾya qədämi (Amharic: ኢትዮጵያ ኢትዮጵያ ኢትዮጵያ ቅደሚ, "Ethiopia, Ethiopia, Ethiopia be first") was the national anthem of Ethiopia during the Derg regime of Mengistu Haile Mariam and, after 1987, was the national anthem of the People's Democratic Republic of Ethiopia.[1]

ቃል ኪዳን ገብተዋል ጀግኖች ልጆችሽ
ወንዞች ተራሮችሽ ድንግል መሬትሽ
ለኢትዮጵያ አንድነት ለነጻነትሽ
መስዋዕት ሊሆኑ ለክብር ለዝናሽ!
ተራመጂ ወደፊት በጥበብ ጎዳና
