The etabonate group

Etabonate is the name for ethyl carbonate esters in International nonproprietary names (INNs) and United States Adopted Names (USANs) for pharmaceutical substances.^[1]

Examples include:

Loteprednol etabonate, a corticosteroid
Remogliflozin etabonate, an anti-diabetic drug
Sergliflozin etabonate, another anti-diabetic drug
