Eta2 Coronae Australis (η2 CrA), is a star located in the constellation Corona Australis. Its apparent magnitude is 5.587.[2] Parallax measurements by Hipparcos put the system at about 480 light-years, or 148 parsecs, away.[1]
Eta2 Coronae Australis is a B-type subgiant star[3] with an effective temperature of about 11,000 K.[7] It has an absolute magnitude of −0.75,[6] and a mass of 3.23 times that of the Sun. It is 171 times as luminous as the Sun.[7]
