Essex Cricket League

The Essex Cricket League is the top level of competition for recreational club cricket in Essex, England. The league was founded in 1972, with one of the driving forces behind its creation being Ron Lynch, the former Essex cricketer.[1] Since 1999 it has been a designated ECB Premier League.[2]

The teams competing in the Premier Division in 2018 are: Billericay, Brentwood, Chelmsford, Chingford, Hadleigh and Thundersley, Hornchurch, Ilford, Shenfield, Southend on Sea and EMT, and Wanstead and Snaresbrook.
