Esen Topoev (Kyrgyz: Эсен Толенович Топоев) is a Kyrgyzstani General and the Former Minister of Defense of Kyrgyzstan.[1][2]
Carrer
He was born on February 28, 1952 in the city of Kyzyl-Kiya. In 1973 he graduated from the Tashkent Higher Combined Arms Command School, He graduated the Frunze Military Academy in 1985. From 1995 to 1999 he served as Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Kyrgyz Republic. In August 1999, by the Decree of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic, he was appointed Minister of Defense of the Kyrgyz Republic.[3]
