Erin Lynn Cummings (born July 19, 1977) is an American actress. She has appeared in the television shows Star Trek: Enterprise, Charmed, Dante's Cove, The Bold and the Beautiful, Cold Case, Dollhouse, Spartacus: Blood and Sand, and Detroit 1-8-7.

Life and career

Cummings was born in Lafayette, Louisiana. Her father served in the military. Erin lived in Korea, Nebraska and various areas of Louisiana and later grew up in Huntsville, Texas. She graduated with a degree in Journalism from the University of North Texas.[1] She has had minor roles in TV shows such as Charmed, Passions and Star Trek: Enterprise.[2] She appeared alongside America Olivo and Julia Voth in the action film Bitch Slap.[3][4]

Cummings starred as Spartacus' wife, Sura, in the Starz series Spartacus: Blood and Sand.[5] Muscle & Fitness magazine featured Cummings in an article and pictorial for their February 2010 edition.[6] In 2013, Erin portrayed Donna Adams in the Primary Stages production of Harbor.

Erin is the founder of "Mittens For Detroit", a community initiative whose sole purpose is to collect and distribute new gloves and mittens to children and adults in the city of Detroit.[7]

On September 9, 2016, shortly after wedding actor Tom Degnan, Cummings announced that she had been diagnosed with invasive ductal carcinoma—an aggressive form of breast cancer—and had begun treatment at UCLA.[8]
