Erich Hammon

Erich Hammon was an Oberstleutnant in the Heer during World War II, serving as Commander of Panzer Artillerie Regiment 119. He was holder of the Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross.

Death

Hammon was executed on 30 June 1945 by a British firing squad for killing a Russian, the 21st Army Group Headquarters in Germany announced on 2 July 1945.[1]
