Eric Schiermeyer is an American technology entrepreneur and video game executive. Schiermeyer is best known for co-founding Zynga (with Mark Pincus, Justin Waldron and others) and serving as its head of product management with the title of Senior Vice President of Product.[1][2][3] At Zynga, Schiermeyer was recognized for expertise in operations.[4] He built the product management organization and instituted the rigorous discipline of metrics-based game development. He left Zynga in 2011.[5] Most recently Schiermeyer started his own game company called Luminary in 2013.[6][7][8]
