The Encyclopedia of Forensic and Legal Medicine 2nd Edition is a reference source and pioneering 4 set encyclopedia of forensics and medico-legal knowledge published by Academic Press, Elsevier in 2016[1]. This has been edited by the renowned British forensic specialist Jason Payne-James and Australian forensic pathologist Roger W. Byard and an international editorial board. This reference work includes more than 300 articles contributed by forensic medicine and forensic science experts from all over the world. The encyclopedia is a complete reference source of articles covering from forensics, criminal investigations, health-care, legal, judicial, ballistics, toxicology,fingerprinting, DNA typing, disaster victim identification to autopsy and postmortem examination[2].
