Song information

The track was written by Enrique Iglesias and since expectations were higher for his sophomore record, the single became very successful in the charts. The song was the second to debut at number 1 in the Billboard Hot Latin Tracks chart, the first being "El Palo" by Juan Gabriel in 1995.

Chart performance

The track debuted on the United States Billboard Hot Latin Tracks chart at number 1 on February 1, 1997[1] and spent twelve weeks consecutively at No # 1,[2] falling to number 2 the following week and then to number 24, to finally exit the charts in its 14th week.
