Emma Willmann is an American stand-up comedian and actress. She made her televised stand up debut on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert.[1][2]
Early life
Emma Willmann was born in Blue Hill, Maine.[3] She is a graduate of Georges Stevens Academy and currently resides in New York City. Willmann also graduated from Simmons College Boston and received a Masters from The New School New York City.
Stand up comedy
She was featured as a New Face at the Just for Laughs Festival in Montreal in 2016.[4] Time Out New York has recognized her as one of the 10 funniest women in NYC.[5] Emma performed stand up on the Seeso series, Night Train with Wyatt Cenac.[6]
Emma will appear on the upcoming 15-minute stand up series on Netflix.[7][8]
Acting
In 2018, Emma joined the cast of the CW series, Crazy Ex-Girlfriend.[9]
Radio and podcasting
Emma is the host of the comedy show, The Check Spot on Sirius XM.[4] Emma is the co-host of the podcast Inside the Closet with fellow comedian, Matteo Lane.[10]
