Emily Wurramara is an Australian singer and songwriter.[1] Originally from Groote Eylandt, she sings in both English and Anindilyakwa.[2] She was nominated for the 2018 ARIA Award for Best Blues and Roots Album for her album Milyakburra.[3]
Wurramara released her debut EP Black Smoke in 2016 which earnt her a Queensland Music Award. She followed it up with an album Milyakburra in 2018 and toured nationally with Alice Skye.[4]
