Emergency Medicine Australasia (until 2005, Emergency Medicine) is a peer-reviewed medical journal of emergency medicine. It is published by Wiley-Blackwell, a publishing business of John Wiley & Sons. It is the official journal of the Australasian College for Emergency Medicine and the Australasian Society for Emergency Medicine. The editor-in-chief is Geoff Hughes. The journal is published in 6 issues per year in simultaneous print and online editions. In 2012, the journal had an impact factor of 0.979 ranking it 13th in the category of emergency medicine journals,[1] and, in 2016, an impact factor of 1.478.[2]
