The Embassy of Ireland in London is the diplomatic mission of the Republic of Ireland in the United Kingdom.[1] Ireland also maintains a Passport and Visa Office at 114A Cromwell Road, South Kensington.[2]
The London mission is concurrently the non-resident ambassador to the nation(s) of: Barbados.[3]
The Embassy is located at 17 Grosvenor Place, which belongs to the Duke of Westminster. The tenants immediately prior were members of the Guinness family, who bequeathed their Dublin home to the Irish State.[4] Iveagh House became the offices of the Irish Department of Foreign Affairs, and "Iveagh House" has become the metonym of the Department.
