Emad El Nahhas (Arabic: عماد النحاس) (born February 15, 1976) is an Egyptian football manager and former footballer who played as a defender. He is currently the head coach of Tanta SC.

He was also an Egyptian international, but missed out on the African Cup of Nations Egypt 2006 through injury.

Career

El-Nahhas was noted for his skill; although he played as a defender, he scored 8 goals for AL Ahly in the Egyptian League in the 2005–2006 season. He scored three of them against Al-Ittihad Al-Iskandary, a game which ended 6–0 for el-Ahly. He scored a skillful goal against Renacimiento FC in CAF Champions League 2006 in a 4–0 win, and scored again in the Egyptian Cup final against Al-Zamalek, a 3–0 victory for el-Ahly.

He netted the last decisive penalty shootout that gave Al Ahly the title of African Super Cup 2007 against Tunisian side Etoile Sahel.

He is also famous for his good manners and trustworthiness in the field.
