Elton Steers Mangoma is a Zimbabwean politician, who is a former Minister of Economic Planning and Investment Promotion.[3] and member of the House of Assembly for Makoni North (MDC-T). He currently serves as the president of the Coalition of Democrats.

Career

A senior official in Prime Minister Morgan Tsvangirai's Movement for Democratic Change, Mangoma was among the party's founding members in 1999. He was one of the country's first black chartered accountants. Before launching his political career, he was manager of several companies including Deloitte & Touche and Delta Corporation. In 2017, Mangoma was elected president of the Coalition of Democrats which he lost dismally in the 2018 General Elections. 2018 Zimbabwean General Election.
