Edward Rudge (politician)

Edward Rudge (22 October 1703 – 6 June 1763), of Evesham Abbey, Worcestershire, was an English politician.

He was born the only son of John Rudge, MP.

He was a Member (MP) of the Parliament of Great Britain for Aylesbury in 21 February 1728 – 1734 and for Evesham 1741–1754 and 23 April 1756–1761.[1] He was elected a Fellow of the Royal Society in 1726.[2]

He married Elizabeth, the daughter and coheiress of Matthew Howard of Hackney, Middlesex but had no children.
