Edward Nash Hurley (31 July, 1864 – 14 November, 1933) was an Irish American businessman, inventor and
Hurley was born in Ireland in 1864. However he emigrated to the US and settled in Galesburg, Illinois.[1]
In 1918 with Professor Robert DeLoach he joined the Vagabonds, a group consisting of John Burroughs, Thomas Edison, Henry Ford and Harvey Firestone who made a camping trip to the Appalachian mountains.[2]
He is buried in the Calvary Cemetery (Evanston, Illinois).[3]
