In 2006, Cale performed in the film Revolution in Three Acts, directed by filmmaker Valerie Veatch, which screened at the New York International Independent Film and Video Festival.[2] Her directorial debut, The Roast, was awarded Best Dark Comedy Short at the 2010 New York International Independent Film and Video Festival.[3] She also sang backing vocals on several of her father' albums, such as 5 Tracks (2003) and Shifty Adventures in Nookie Wood (2012).[4]

In 2013 Cale and Austin Scott founded Hiraeth Media Inc.,[5] a digital agency "specializing in branding, public relations, social media strategy and digital advertising".[6]
