East Huancheng Road (simplified Chinese: 环城东路; traditional Chinese: 環城東路站; pinyin: Huánchéng Dōng Lù Zhàn) is a station under construction on Line 5 of the Shanghai Metro. Located at Nanqiao East Huancheng Road and Hangnan Highway in the city's Fengxian District, the station is located on the main branch of Line 5 and is expected to open with the rest of the southern extension of the line in 2018. It will be an underground station. During the planning stages and early part of construction, it was known as Huandong Road (环东路; 環東路).[1][2]
The station is located between Fengpu Avenue and Wangyuan Road.
