East Beacon

East Beacon (77°50′S 160°54′E / 77.833°S 160.900°E / -77.833; 160.900Coordinates: 77°50′S 160°54′E / 77.833°S 160.900°E / -77.833; 160.900) is the prominent eastern peak, rising to 2,265 metres (7,430 ft) in the Beacon Heights, in the Quartermain Mountains, Victoria Land. It was named by the New Zealand Geological Survey Antarctic Expedition, 1958–59.[1]
