EaseMyTrip is an online travel company based in India.[1] The parent company is known as Easy Trip Planners Pvt. Ltd, located in Patparganj Industrial Area, New Delhi.

Overview

EaseMyTrip offers travel services like flight tickets, tour packages, hotel reservations, car rental and bus tickets. The travel agency consists of 42,352 travel agents, 1800 corporate, 1200 franchise outlets, 1600 distributors and 640 white-label solutions.In financial year 2016–17 company did Rs.1,800 Crores plus sales. The company also has its overseas branches in Bangkok, Maldives, Dubai and Singapore.[2][3]

EaseMyTrip offers white label services with their travel portal.

History

EaseMyTrip was founded in 2008 by Nishant Pitti (a commerce graduate from Delhi University) and Rikant Pitti (a B.Tech from Kurukshetra University). Before starting this online travel business, they worked together as a travel agency. The company was established in New Delhi at Karkardooma. The company opened its first overseas branch in Bangkok in year 2013.[4] Second and third overseas branches were opened in Dubai and Singapore in 2014 and 2015 respectively. Fourth overseas branch office was founded in Maldives in 2016.

Bollywood Movies

In 2016, EaseMyTrip co-produced Indian films like – Madaari and Freaky Ali. In 2017, the company co-produced Guest Iin London. The company is co-producing the movie on the historical character, Jhansi ki Rani Laxmi Bai, titled – Manikarnika:_The_Queen_of_Jhansi starring Kangana Ranaut and others.The company took distributorship of the Bollywood films Rustom, Tubelight and Jab Harry Met Sejal.[5][6][7][8] Nishant Pitti is also producing upcoming films Batti Gul Meter Chalu and Fanney Khan. Recently, they acquired the distribution rights of the films Dil Junglee, Welcome to New York, Khamoshi, and Parmanu for Delhi, UP and Punjab regions. The film Pari will be released by them in Punjab.[9][10][11][12][13]
