EPR Properties is a specialty real estate investment trust (REIT) based in the United States that currently invests in three primary segments: Entertainment, Recreation and Education.[1] The company owns several properties such as amusement parks, theaters, schools and ski resorts.

History

In late 2016, CNL Lifestyle Properties announced it was selling ownership of Northstar California Resort, 15 attraction properties and five small family entertainment centers to EPR Properties for approximately $456 million. The transaction was completed in April 2017.[2]
