Dylan Luke Dauzat (born November 2, 1997) is an American actor, producer, musician, model, social media magnate, entrepreneur, public speaker, and minister. He first achieved global recognition while still in high school after launching his career in late 2012 at the age of 15.

He stars in the Disney web television series 'Hyperlinked', produced exclusively for YouTube Premium.[1]

Dylan is part of a younger generation of entrepreneurs creating new markets as digital influencers in an industry valued at over 1.07 billion USD[2]

Personal life

Dauzat was born and raised into a devote Christian family on November 2, 1997 in the small town of Marksville, Louisiana. His father and mother (Laurie Dauzat) instilled in Dylan and his two sisters (Alli Marie Dauzat and Sophie Dauzat) strong Christian morals that have come to define Dylan in both his personal and professional life . Achieving international fame at an early age, the young celebrity maintained a perfect 4.0 GPA throughout his formal schooling .

Career

Dauzat created his YouTube channel on December 29, 2012 after receiving a camera as a Christmas gift that same year.[3] He garnered worldwide attention from his YouTube videos, subsequently moving from Louisiana to West Hollywood, Los Angeles to pursue a career in modelling.[4][5]

In 2014, he signed a deal with INTOUR.[6] The following year, in 2015, he was featured in both the Slaybells:ICE and Digifest tours by DIGItour.[7]

He has appeared at the American Music Awards for two consecutive years in 2014[8] and 2015.[9]

In February 2016, Magcon announced they had signed a deal with Dauzat.[10][11] Dauzat made his decision to depart in June 2016 [12][13] to sign with DIGItour on a nationwide 28 city tour.[14][15]

Since 2016, he has worked on numerous television shows and feature films as an actor, producer, and associate producer.[16]

In 2017, he began his working relationship with Disney, first appearing in the television series 'Hyperlinked'.[17]

As of June 2018, his YouTube channel has over 700,000 subscribers with more than 37.4 million views.[18] He currently has over 1.3 million followers on Instagram,[19] more than 734,000 followers on Twitter,[20] and over 275,000 followers on Facebook.[21] In all, he has over 5.5 million followers around the world and across all major social media platforms.

He holds the distinction of being ranked #21 Most Famous Viner. He has maintained an audience of over 1.6 million followers on the video sharing site.

A devote Christian, he has been able to apply his fame, success, and public speaking talents to his faith. He is passionately involved in ministry and employs his status as a role model to teach and help others.

Music

On November 1, 2014, Dauzat released his first official track on iTunes, 'Kickin It',[22] soaring to a Top Ten position on the charts within 24 hours after release.[23] He followed up with a music video shortly thereafter.[24]

On February 14, 2015, Dauzat released his single 'Mine Tonight'[25] from his debut EP ('Magnetic').[26]

On June 4, 2015, 'Mine Tonight' was released under Dauzat's label.[27]
