Dwitiyo Ripu (Bengali: দ্বিতীয় রিপু Dwitiyo Ripu , meaning Anger) is an Indian independent film directed by Abhijit Chowdhury. The film tells the story of a young desperate writer, lost in the world of reality and fiction, who must decide whether to commit a murder or not. The film stars Bitan Sarkar, Biswajit Chakrobarty, Kheya Chattopadhyay, Debashree Chakrobarty and Satrajit Sarkar in principal roles.[1][2][3]

Synopsis

Raktim is a young writer who wants to change the current scenario of decaying Bengali literature by trying to publish his first novel. Only soon he realised committing a murder is a much potent force to bring a change. And same as Dostoyevsky’s Raskolnikov, he believes a murder is justified when it is meant for a noble cause. Imon, a free going girl, finds manuscript of the novel and ends up entering into the world of Raktim and witnessing his journey.
