Dwight Thoburn Ream (March 23, 1892 – November 20, 1954) was the 16th head football coach for Washburn University in Topeka, Kansas for two seasons, from 1920 until 1921.[1] His overall coaching record at Washburn was 8 wins, 7 losses, and 4 ties. This ranks him 17th at Washburn in terms of total wins and 22nd at Washburn in terms of winning percentage.[2]

In the 1920 game against Kansas Normal under coach Homer Woodson Hargiss, Kansas Normal fullback Jack Reeves sustained a neck injury that resulted in his death.[3]

He died after a long illness (heart ailment) in 1954.[4][5]
