Dubai Safari Park (Arabic: حديقة سفاري دبي) is an eco-friendly[1] Safari park[2] located in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, The park major source of energy is solar energy.[3] The Park is located on Al Warqa 5 on Hatta Road. The park having 2,500 animals from more than 250 species[4][5]. Dubai Safari Park was replaced on the 50 years old Dubai Zoo[6]. The park have plain to increase the animal number to 5000 till 2020.[3] On May 15 the Park was closed for renovation and improvements and will remain close for next four months.[7]

History of Dubai Safari Park

The old Jumeriah zoo Dubai is converted to Safari Park Dubai. The old Dubai zoo had a collection of 1000 animals. Keeping in mind the tourist increase in the Dubai, the Dubai municipality took a decision of increasing and moderating the Dubai zoo. 40.8 Million Dollars where allocated to the project. The Project was given to a re known company named as Meraas. Parques Reunidos a renown operator of animal is hired as operation manager. The Park was opened on 12th December 2017.[3]

Villages of Dubai Safari Park

The Park have major five Areas named as Safari village, Arabian Village, Asian Village, African Village and Wadi Village.[8]

Safari Village

Safari village is an open area where visitors can go by bus and have close encounter with the animals.[9]

Arabian Village

Arabian Village have the animals from Arab soil. This area is designed containing the mountains, deserts and beautiful flowers and plants.[9]

Asian Village

Animals from Asia are part of this village, Komodo Dragon and Indian Elephants are part of Asian Village.[9]

African Village

White lion and wild African dogs belongs to African village.[9]

Wadi Village

Wadi Village is an area for relaxation.[9]

Tickets of Dubai Safari Park

The tickets of Dubai Safari Park is available on the Door of Safari Park. Because of high crowd it is recommended to purchase online. Tickets for the children below three years of age and above 65 Years of age are free on providing the identity of age. Free parking is also available along with paid VIP Parking.[10]
