The media company began with an audience reach in New York, Miami, Los Angeles, Chicago, Dallas and San Francisco, with seasonal editions for places for the Hamptons, Aspen and Sun Valley. It sets aside half the editorial content for local and regional news and events.[2] .[6] .[7]

History

Jason Binn, founder of Niche Media, launched DuJour in August 2012.[8][1][9] [10] It has a content/database partnership with the affluent-targeted Gilt Groupe;[1] aand with the Gilt Taste/Men/Women/Children/Jet-Setter.[11]

Its total reach is near 4 million,[8] and the quarterly rhythm is said to be worth just over $2 million.[3]
